Worst damn weekend in fishkeeping history for me1. I was going to transport some fish up to MI for my brother. My friend brings over some of the fish. While in the living room we unpack a 8.5" creamsicle female midas (we left her the styrobox with the bag open). Before I take her down to the basement my friend calls me to look at one of my tanks (a 55 planted). What do I see but my bushfish, all 4" of him dead and floating
. While I'm netting out the dead fish my dog walks into the room and belches very loud. I turn around and his muzzle is wet------you guessed it, the meathead ate the whole fish!!!!!!! It was my fault but I am so pissed!!!!! That midas was perfect. 2. I call my brother to apoligize and he tells me his girlfriends son had smashed two 90 gals and one 75 gal (one 90 was mine
), so he cannot take the fish. i Guess the kid thought it would be fun to shoot them with a slingshot. So now I'm stuck with a flowerhorn, two small RDs and a small female jag.3. My female jag and male firemouth have spawned three times. Never saw any viable eggs. I know they will most likely never produce but one can hope. So anyway on Wed or Thur of last week she spawns and bingo, she does not eat the eggs. The eggs look good until Sat night, when she promtly eats them
. Near as I could tell only a few had fungused over. Just was not my weekend. I posted some extra crappy pics of the two of them. Thanks for listing to me piss and moan.
