any suggestions? i really like oscars , jags , texas and green terrors . i only have a a pair of blue convicts and a texas in my tank. i will sell them if i get a nice stocking suggestion 
Monster cichlids for a 115 tank

Depending on the dimensions I would say that breeding pairs are my preference. You get a lot of bickering between a community tank of that size with cichlids. I would go with a pair of Jags, Festa or Beani. There are many options but these are some species I really like. Whatever you go with I have decided pairs are the best way to go unless you have a monster community tank.

I' heard a dovi is to big for a 115 they grow to 24 inches. Where do you live in Canada anywhere near Calgary because we are looking for a texas.
What are the dimensions? A male Dovii will eventually need a tank around 8'x3' to give him space. A 125 would be okay for a male Dovii for a couple years. What I meant by a monster community tank is a 350 +. Jags can be very territorial.....so it might claim a 1/3 of the tank to himself. A Oscar jag and green terror might work out. Sometimes you never know. Pairs are just more entertaining if you ask me, you get to watch them interact all day and once you get a bonded pair you won't really have problems. Might want to check into a pair of Midas as well.
