behind my iMac.... Southampton UK.
Just wondering what everyone has: mixed comunitys as title says... my current project is a mish mash, amazon meets asia...
o's, dat, climbing perch, poly silver aro, 2 plecs, shark, 4 clown loach and tinfoils.

thou tinfoils n big common plec are off to lfs soon as they came with a tank. when they go, i'm going to try and introduce:
Gt, Flowerhorn, Tyretrack, Fire eel, siam flying fox, my other plecs if i feel really brave i may even see if my jar can behave him self thou i have my doubts...

So thats my project.. i respect it has a few floors but one can only try and watch to see what happens, then intervein quick when it goes tits up...

atm its a 62g (us). thou upgrade is iminant, i have been designing a nu tank or a while and am just sourcing quotes before finalising dimentions... thinking around 6' x 3.5' x 3'.

I have a 265 with a 24+" Silver Arowana, 15" Jag, a 20" Chinese Perch, 2 oscars (12 and 14"), 20" clown knife, 15" Lima shovel nose, and 18" marbled pim.

Texas, Monster Loaches, Dehezi, Thinbar Dat, Jaguar

Most of my FW tanks are a mish mash.

29g - 1 juvenile angelfish,5 juvenile jellybean parrots, 1 anostomus ternetzi, 2 kuhli loaches, 3 juvenile comps (don't even ask, they're not mine). Oddly enough all get along very well.

125g - various mbunas, livingstoni, obliquidens, 3 silver dollars (*sigh* yet again, not mine), and a footlong ornate bichir that I think has snacked on a couple of the africans. Besides the bichir snacking on other fish they all do fine together. (And yeah, he's not really supposed to be in there, but the other ornate tried to kill him)

90g - Ornate, 3 senegals, 6 ropefish, leporinus desmotes, marbled headstander, 6 rainbows (not mine), 1 tinfoil barb (not mine). These fish all get along too.

125g - several different native fish, one red devil. Bicker some, but no real fighting.

Not really. It sounds like a lot but it really doesn't look like it. They're spread out throughout the tank pretty well. There are no scuffles and the nitrates never climb above 20ppm thanks to a 2gph drip system.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought it, but they do look spread out enough. Everyone gets along you say hmm. I have a 200 I'll be stocking soon. Interesting ideas. I just wish Oscars didn't wash out to grey when they reach adulthood - they are so pretty when they're young!
