Monster fish bites!!

The 4 1/2" maroon clownfish have bitten my about a dozen times in the past month!

After reading this thread, I'm grateful I'm in this boat! ^ (Cept mine are true percs)

I was visiting Sbuse one sunny afternoon and he and his brother were trying to get me to stick my finger in the gar tank so his cuban could take a chunk out of me. Jerks! :p :irked:

I have been bitten by an 12" Oscar, a 7" green terror, a 21" giant gourami and a then 24" silver arowana all by mistake for food. The silver arowana is most "painful" (if I can call it that) but it didn't draw any blood. Nothing serious actually.

This X mas will be the 44th anniversary of getting my 1st aquarium. I have been bit so many times, by so many kinds of fish in all those years that I can't count them all. Nothing like Mr Bigglesworth, though.

Not as severe as F1 VETs, but I got a nice deep bite from a Red Belly. It bled pretty good!

I got bit by my 20" gar trying to handfeed him a goldfish. Lots of little needle-like punctures. Scared me more than hurt.

No fish bites (apart from betta and platy nibbles) but my cat once took a chunk out of my hand coz i was holding KFC, there was a chunk missing from the side of my hand and an inch deep hole in between my fingers where his claw went fully in, very painful

Thats because cats make terrible pets. If a dog bites someone it gets put down but when a cat does it its just "being a cat".

I should probably mention, I used to work at an LFS for my first job when I was 15 and I found out the hard way that I am allergic to bristle worms in marine aquariums. aka the little spikey things that are EVERYWHERE in the rockwork. if they bite my my hand will go read and swell up. it was pretty freaky stuff considering I had no clue I was allergic to anything in the store.

I disagree, my cat serves as my alarm clock, he wakes me up at 3:30 am :) Other than that my cat is great...

I work at an animal shelter, I'd rather be bit by a dog than a cat. Cats bite to the bone where as dogs bite and shake. I wouldn't say they ate horrible pets but I'd rather be bit by a dog or fish as opposed to a cat

I got bit by an aggressive African Cichlid, not really a bit deal, but when he bit me, I jerked my hand up, and he must have still had his mouth closed on some skin, and I threw him into the air, damn near hit the ceiling.

I caught the stupid fish in mid air, he started wiggling and I dropped it. Picked it up and put it back in the water. Serves him right! Haha.
Definitely didn't hurt, but is a pretty funny story to tell.
