I have an gold clown knife and plan on getting a 125 to 150 gallon tank. I was wondering if any of these ideas would work.

#1. 3 oscars and clown knife with duck bill catfish
#2. 3 tinfoil barbs and clown knife with duckbill catfish
#3. 6 silver dollars and clown knife with duckbill catfish
#4. 1 jardai arawona and clown knife with duckbill catfish

out those choices i think the only one that would work well is #3. Three oscars would be too big IMO. And a jardini would kill a lima cat and knife. The tinfoils would probably work to, but things may get a little cramped

i have severums with my clown knife,.,works out pretty well.

duck bill cat = lima shovelnose?

don't clown knives get way too big?

i would automatically eliminate #4 because the jar will outgrow that tank, even by itself. i would go with #3. i like it when a school of silver dollars swim together.

Clown knifes easily attain sizes of 36" if cared for right. Limas can get 20". Get a bigger tank sounds like a better suggestion. Like a 180 or 240.
