Monster fish for planted tanks

Anybody have any suggestions for monster fish for a planted tank.....don't want to do do discus, tetras, angels, rainbows etc.

Depending on where you sit with hybrids, my Blood Parrot doesn't touch plants; except for when she randomly tries to attack them very occasionally. Doesn't eat them.

I have an arow.....not into parrots......might do Dats but wold want to add other fish as well

Maybe drop us some ideas of m what types of fish you do like, then people can help suggest fishes based on your prefernce...

Anyway, what about freshwater butterfly fish or archer fish?

Keep some upper jaw bichirs like Senegals, Ornate, Delhezi. They are mostly middle-bottom dwellers and pretty active. Aggressiveness-wise, any fish which can't fit in their mouth should be safe.

I have a del in another tank so idt I'll be adding another....thanks for the suggestion tho

How big is the tank? I know a Fahaka can be kept with plants if you don't mind the occasional bites on leaves.
