Monster fish harassing my Dats!

My Dats have been hiding lately. Not the little ones but the 3-4" ones I got recently. This Monster fish that has been harassing my Dats is: a 1.5" Convict, a leftover feeder that never got eaten. I had to tear down the tank to get that little pain out of there.

I HATE when that happens. With me, it's usually always one of my favorites getting picked on. I recently sentenced an anoying little bastard to "Death by Jardini" the other day...now there is peace again.

For the most part I am the same way. I started out with cichlids back in the day, but the constant fighting/nipping drove me nuts.

Now I mainly keep aros, different kinds of perch, lungfish, and catfish...but I have two cichlids left...a synspilum and a trimac. The funny part is that I kept them because when I took them out of the tank...all of my dats in that tank lost stability, were hiding, and not eating as much as they did. I put the two cichlids back in there and the dats came rocketing out and were rubbing all over them and following them everywhere...weird.

So now I have a "shoal" of 10, consisting of 8 dats, a synspilum, and a trimac.

no, we dont...

the only cichlid i have is a fully grown male golden severum that i got for free from a friend. Other than that i can catch pretty much any cichlid i want to in the local ponds.

I hate cichlids too ( for completely different reasons)...Once the pity cases are gone...No more cichlids in my tanks.

we all have our likes and dislikes, you like your dats, i like my cichlids..i have both..guess that puts a hole in the universe..LOL
