it will house my PB

W coast near tampa.

and it gets 40 deg on a winter night once a year

i dont know how low of temp they can handle.
my guess would be no less then 60 or 70 max.
if you can heat it that good it will work.
im more south then you and it gets in the 30's.
so where you are it gets in the 30's 4 sure.
just my opinion.

One of my ponds is 65* now and two outside 55g are 60* and their up against the house, ask me again in the morning, they're talking frost tonight.

Wow Florida is having worse weather than part of Britain, never thought I would be able to truthfully type that! It gets no lower than 32F here at night at the moment, and gets to about 40F during the day (as to my knowledge).
