Hi guys and gals. Not sure whether there's been a list before but I'd like to have one LOL

Euryhaline (both salt n freshwater)
1. Mega sturgeon species (several)
2. Giant freshwater stingray
3. Paddle fish (American and Chinese (recently extinct? ))
4. Goliath grouper/queensland grouper/brindlebass
5. Sawfish
6. Bull shark

Pure freshwater
1. Mekong giant catfish 293kg recorded
2. Piraiba catfish/lau lau 155kg igfa
3. Arapaima 154kg jakub vagner igfa
4. Nile Perch 112kg igfa
5. Wels catfish 135kg igfa
6. Giant pangasius catfish/paroon shark (I shared a video of a 118kg one caught last month)
7. Alligator gar 138kg / 327lbs netted from mississippi
8. Giant siamese carp

Just had a look at your databases and amazing effort I must say. Tremendous work!

I guess for this thread, I just wanted to compile a list with objectively measured weights.
