Monster jd rescue

So taking a stroll by a near by fish farm i see in one of the ponds there is a huge creature swimming with midevils and oscars i ask to net it out and it was this poor jd some customer brought in. Hes about 8-9" measured him today, waaaayyy skinny, and i think showing signs of HITH. Hopefully i can bring him back to his full potential. Ill keep updating this thread with his progress. If anyone has any rescue pictures to share of before and afters feel free to share.

Thanks all. I love his face. I added salt. Day one he had alot of fungus issues those are gone that was sat. Today i added prazi, and im working on getting more of the wormer i feed. But sickly and all he is not taking any crap from anyone. I even thought when i got him i was going to need a divider because he was gonna be weak and vulnerable but heck no! He's feisty! He looks like his been beat up for year because you can barely see any blue spangling thats usual for jds because of all the healed old wounds and scarring.

That is a good sign. JDs are hardy fish and he will bounce back w/ what you are doing. Nice save!

Little update. Staring to get some spangling back. I couldnt capture it very well but he has large gold spangling now, hopefully they will go blue later he still has a lot of issues on his face near his eyes as you can see. He has these grooves under his eyes that look like HITH. Hopefully i can get these fixed.
