Monster L-095 Spotted FS in Northern VA

I was in Annandale Super Pets in Annandale, VA today and they have a very nice L-095 Pseudorinelepis genibarbus "Pellegrini Pleco". It had to be close to 12" and they were asking $189 for it. The fish pictured is not the actual one for sale but they were very similar. Hope someone in the DC/NOVA area goes and gets that guy. I thought they were on the banned list but I guess not. I would grab him if I wasn't moving shortly. Just wanted to let everyone know it was there in case anyone is interested.

 
Interesting...the same pleco was also available to me on a wholesaler list. Listed at 14"...I seriously considered getting it for myself, but I don't have the tank space. :(

weird, another lfs near me also had a similar sized L-095 they aquired recently but it was in a display tank only and not for sale, they tried telling me it was an l-025 scarlet. i wonder if there were a couple large ones imported recently.
 
Saw 2 big ones well over 12" at my LFS the other month. Saw 2 well over 12" sunshines recently but I might be picking those up ;). Giant plecos rule.

i guess they aren't as rare as i thought. i was surprised to see an l095 period, let alone one that size.
 
i had a chance to buy the last one in hawaii before learning there wont be anymore coming in...300 dollars though, and about 10in...sigh.
