These 2 have reached almost Maximum size of Marulioides...
Cannot get their accurate size... i think its easily more than 2 feet length...
damn fat maulioides...

its a wild caught...they are in the same LFS with the small Emperor below...
but now the young fellow has gone...didn't bother to ask much...
the owner is not that friendly...pffft...

Blue variant or just regular emperor I'll take them. What ever snakeheads I've find I'll take them except for dwarf species that don't grow pass 8-10". Finding a blue emperor would be hard here in Canada as it's hard even to find other snakehead species. Commonly sold are giant snakehead and dwarf snakeheads. Chevron snakeheads and ocelated snakehead will sometimes shows up but rarely. Blotch snakehead can only be found in chinese market as human consumption. They won't sell it alive as they are not allow to but you need to trick them to get it alive. Channa lucius was available for sale before 5 years ago and channa arantimaculata. Don't see them anymore. Channa pulchra are also available but on the other side of Canada and being sold underground as Toronto illegalize keeping of snakeheads. So shipping them here in Vancouver is way to risky.
