Monster Mono - Bucyrus, ohio - P/U

I was in fishy business today in Bucyrus ohio. and They had a Monster Mono Pbass for sale. It was easy 15" but most likely larger. It was in a 125 and didn't look comfortable at all.

I didn't get a chance to talk with anyone about it b/c they were busy. So I do not know if it's off live or anything but It's the largest Pbass I have seen in person.


they were asking $100 for it but I'm not sure if they would drop the price if asked.

Sorry no pics. They never have that tanks lights on so it wouldn't have come out anyway.

It's a true LFS and the longer they have something that is that large they will work on the price.

omg that was my uncles fish, he just traded it in the other day. it is an ocelerus and he traded it in with the teminsis and one of the silver aros.
it eats shrimp primarly, its a very friendly fish, will eat from hand, it will also eat feeders and i belive night crawlers

You sure it's an occell? it didn't have red eyes.

How far is this place man? I think my brother might consider going up there? It could go with that Azul? It look pretty healthy?

monos have red eyes, it was listed as occell when he bought it

fish was definitly healthy, at least at trade in. was kept in crystal clear water the whole time he owned it. he takes very good care of his tanks and fish.

monos have normal eyes, ocells are red. and i dont think i've seen an ocell with a hump on its head ... ?? I'd bet its mono

jeff i wouldn't put it with an azul.

bring the azul here, then he can get the mono
