I bought a 7.8 gallon glass for my little buddy Sparko the cucumber puff, and it arrived with the back panel smashed. I love the way the front and sides are all 1 curved piece, and want to try to salvage it. I happen to mave a panel thats the right thickness and fits the height, but it's about an inch too long and will stick out the sides. Will this effect its watertightness if I use it, or should I buy a new tank? I hate to throw it out.
THANK YOU!

Personal opinion is that there is very little water pressure on a 7.8 gal tank so as long as you use a good sealant and let i t cure properly i don't think you would have a problem at all

(not an expert but that is what i would do)
