Monster of Bettas ~Plakat Pair~

Recently acquired this pair of Thai fighters.

I need to get a new tank because my camera scratched the plastic after taking these photos!

This is the blue male. The white stuff on him are the sand that I poured in there, and they just kind of got stuck on him LOL. Very hard to photograph because of his dark coloration:

This is the bluish red female. Excuse that long black "thing" in the first photo... :

Sweet bettas, there are so many amazing species beyond the B. splendens, though quality B. splendens are nice as well.

Represent !! bettas get no respect , they are great fish but are quickly becoming the new popular " throwaway" fish, very sad. I just wish that they could be housed together, but that bad attitude is a big part of the appeal I suppose? You have some fine examples there! Nice and big!!!
