MONSTER Pseudacanthicus at Baltimore Aquarium

This tank spanned a 25 foot wall and had several large Panaque spp, redtail cats, Acanthicus hystrix, pacus, cichlids, and turtles, but this guy caught my eye.

That's a 6" clam shell by his head for scale.

Nice! Havent been there in a couple years. If you havent already check out the amazonia exhibit at the smithsonian zoo im dc. Not many plecos but lots of monsters!

We actually only stopped in Baltimore on the way to DC, now I'm mad we didn't go to the zoo down there haha. That pima is impressive.
