MONSTER Senegal Bichir Thread

Hey guys, i know alot of us, (me included) share pictures of our bichirs to everyone because they're just that awesome and all, but i was wondering if monster senegals still exist in home aquaria.

I'm not talking about Polypterus senegalus sp. "turkana" aka. Turkana senegals but senegals that are actually available to the market atm.

well i just want to see if other people have senegals that are at least 12"+ and post pictures of them on this thread

Because i know that due to captive breeding, the max size for most of them is about 10"- which sucks :/

anyways, ill start off this thread by sharing my WC 12.5" Senegalus sp. "Nigeria"

I have a 6" right now that i have a feeling will be up there in a couple months lol he's really girthy and has grown 5" in the last 4.5 months. Funny thing is i got him at .5 almost starved to death. Anyway o think he'll be on this thread sooner or later. Nice sen btw

Impressive fish. King El has a cb sen that is 13-14 inches. Sens over 12 rare indeed
