Anyone know where to buy a monster sized gravel vacuum? I'm not talking about buying a Python with a 20" extension tube for deep tanks. I'm talking about buying a Monster sized gravel vac with a large 1"+ hose and long extension tube that has some girth to it (5"+). Vacuuming big tanks with a tube that has a diameter of 1 3/4" is extremely tedious. The Python vac is an awesome product for smaller tanks, but there has to be a product for those of us with larger tanks. Anyone help me out?

I'm in the process of making one, but I'm worried that the glue I'm using is toxic. I'd actually rather pay the extra cash to buy one and not worry about poisoning my fish.

Thanks.

a monster sized gravel vac???? how absolutely STUPID can i be to have not thought of making one??? ::wall::

how bout this......large dia. PVC tube, plastic end cap with a hole drilled in it for a large dia. hose. stick hose about 1/2" in the tube, and silicon the crap out of it. wont look pretty at all.

may have to taste some tank water to start the siphon, but it just might work :D

Hook some hoses up to this.
1. turn on switch
2. watch 150 gallons disappear in like 20 seconds
3. cry very hard cuz u just killed your fish with the monster gravel vac :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
