can you legaly transport these fish alive to put in your aqarium?

Not sure, but since most grow quite large and I don't have a saltwater tank it would be quite a waste. Plus they were undersized to begin with so I will go with no.

in nd were not allowed to trasport any live native fish in water. i was just courious if you could bring fish home. wherther it be fresh or salt native or invasive

Some fish you can and down south they catch a lot of invasives and keep alive. Certain gamefish are not allowed.

The first fish we call pigfish, aka grouper candy. They are a grunt species.

The second fish is a black sea bass. If legal, which I think it may be, they would be great in aquaria. They rarely get over eighteen inches and looks really cool. They develop a big hump like big male cichlids do and they display some nice blues and even reds.

The third fish is a juvy jack crevalle and the last is a juvy lane snapper. Lane snapper could be cool in too because they rarely get over twenty inches.

Here are a couple black sea bass and near world record lane snapper all caught by me.

Awesome catches JD. Would have been happier if mine were a little bigger but at least it wasn't pin fish. Where did you catch those?
