Monster Snapping Turtle

Caught this guy while fishing for bullheads. hook was in him pretty good but managed to get it out and send him on his way...after some snapshots of corse.

thats a chunk of wood from the stick he bit. when trying to get the hook out he was very snappy. even with pliers i was nervous that he was gonna bite. at one point he snapped and the pliers ended up halfway down his throat! he was so fast. we used the stick so he would have something else to focus on besides us. then we just had him bite it to check out his strength.
