The sky looked ominous. I decided to take my lunch break to look for funnel clouds. I believe it found me. Minutes later, the hail started. It was pouring so hard I couldn't see 1 foot in front of my car. I inched forward until I found a parking lot, and parked my car on the side of a building to avoid damage. I wasn't thinking at the time and didn't snap any pics, I was terrified. The pics are the aftermath. What you won't see is that a roof was ripped off a building 2 blocks from me, a trailer house was dropped on a womans car, the power was knocked out, the air conditioner on top of our building was ripped from it's place, there was a major gas leak, and traffic was backed up for miles with no power to the stoplights afterwords. Awesome experience, wish I would have gotten pics from the middle of it.
Also, a semi trailer overturned on a major highway. Windspeed was recorded in one area at 89 MPH. Being ruled as a tornado as of right now.
