I was wondering if tank height matters for p.bass
my girlfriend got a jar and took over the 220 that I was gonna use
so I'm gonna get a new tank I was thinkin about a 96X36X24 but I was worried that it would be too short
let me kno if this could work

Sounds like a great size tank with good width and length. The height sounds fine too.

IMHO I think a 8' x 3' x 3' would be even better but if the other dimensions are on an existing tank it is fine.

sounds ok with height.. The most important thing IMO is the width and length..

perfect tank....

I personally wouldn't stick any temensis in there for life due to the height.

It'll be a good size tank for your cichla.

I agree here, that is the same tank I just ordered but I wouldnt expect to house Temensis in that forever. Other species it could be a life tank, but those damn Tems get too big too fast. I wish I could have some Tems but to keep it real and honest, I just dont have room right now for a 120 x 48 x 30 which I think Tems should require.
