Planning to get a 240+ gallon tank.. maybe more. I want to do a monster setup, natural decor, monster fish, the works. Question is.. filtration? Wet/dry + canister? or just wet/dry? And fish, I want Aro's, but can I do 3 Jardinis? Other fishes will be Dats, a Flowerhorn or 2, bonsai/killin FH, Fei Feng and maybe a couple plecos. Question really is Aro's.. is it okay or should I just stay on the safer side and get silvers and blacks?

Most likely will be getting bigger than 240, but that's just my minimum size I'm willing to settle for.. and if that's the size, it won't be so many fish.. =/...

240 is a real nice size! Have you ever thought about Rays? I think if you want three jars, go for it, but we all know they can be jerks..lol I think a group of three has a high probability of fighting, but a bigger group would IMPO calm the masses. You could do any filtration you want. I would do a 100 gallon wet/dry, and at least 3 canisters large, 1 for polishing, 1 for chemical/mech, and 1 for extra bio. Good luck and I will subscribe to this for updates :)....

i spoke with my custom tank guy he said a 300w heat in the sump is enough
umm you wanna comm jars? i don't advise it, even asian aros fight a lot even with 3, jars are really aggressive and not advisable to keep 3. when ur keeping jars, don't keep other tankmates b/c jars will kill it

Not always.. My jar had tank m8 halv of his size or small and he didnt kill any. But he past away 2 days ago =( . but yeah 5 jars in a 240g tank will be a problem.. But jars can be calm and peaceful to, but getting 5 of them is one chane in a million..
