Ok well I have decided to upgrade from my 150 tall to a 240long (8x2x2) which is the biggest I can go in this apartment also making me get rid of the 150.

So automatically the stock will start off as such as I already have these:

Spotted Climbing Perch
Silver Datnoid
Cichla Temensis
Common Pleco

the others I have will be traded in to big al's or give a new home.

Now I am not sure what the limits are with stocking monster fish but here is my idea, just let me know if it is do able or if you can think of something better.

in addition to those three I was thinking the following:

Black and/or Silver Arowana
2-3 more different species of PBs
2+ Different Species of datnoid

so that would be about 10+ fish in the 240, would that be ok are are those guys to big for the 240?

really I would love to have 2-3 Peacock bass 1 of each type, 2-3 Datnoids one of each and atleast one arowana.

So what are your thoughts, I am kinda bord with New World Cichlids so no oscars ect. :D

P.S.

I am just trying to get a fish list so I can get Big Al's to track everything down for me...

yea go with a bunch of dats
you should scrap the pbass idea because temensis will get to 3'
maybe trade him in and get a few mono or ocellaris

your proposed 240 would be overstocked if your filtration isn't at the maximum, so go BIG with that. large sump back up with 2080 eheims would be my way. and i would probably ease up on the stocklist mabey 7-8 of those monsters. and skip the tem's. they get to big for a 8'x2'. mabey mono's instead and that's pushing it.

i would also like to point out that your sig is not racially wrong rather religiosly, as jews and other eastern europens in the 40's were not a race, but the crimes of the nazi's were religiously motivated for the most part. and your sig link does not work.

Well I already have a FX5 so I will keep that, so my plan would be 2 FX5 and a Wet/Dry...

as for the Temz I plan on keeping the one I have for as long as I can but the others would be ocellaris.

the 240 is just the biggest I have space for atm but when I finally buy a house I will be getting something much bigger, smallest would be a 300 while keeping the 240.

Have you actually met Li to know he is indeed short, or he is Asian. Is your sig racially wrong?

he is indeed asian and indeed short from what i've seen of him. but that's pokeing fun at athority which is all clean fun.- note the smiley at the end of it. i also thought it was somewhat witty includeing the fact that life is not long in it- so don't get cranky at me cause you sat on your balls:)
