All of these fish were amazing in size and I had a great day walking around. Lots of native fish from the waters of scandinavia

especially the catfish was huuge

those are wels catfish! Next time could you take more pic of them? How many did they have?
 
brilliant looking place, love the variety....That pike looks stunning as does the carp
 
nice! what is that species in the second pic down from the top? it looks like a red belly piranha, but the body shape doesnt look right

:P its a tench !!! good to see a decent collection of our native freshwater with the trout , pike, perch, tench and rudd etc wish some of my local aquariums had decent native setups ! makes me wanna go fishing :)
 
Nice pics! Im hoping to get up to götet soon, I haven´t been to universeeum yet, but it looks like a must visit.
 
Yea I loved it. Watching cool native fish almost makes the "standard" amazon fish seem dull ^^ Problem is all these live in cold water

I could only spot one on the wels, but it was called "cat fish corner" so theres probably more hiding.. in the corners?
