Monsterfish feeding

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All depends on fish. Younger fish normally Need to eat more to grow and once larger they'll eat less often. Most adult "monsterfish" shouldn't have to eat daily.

I have a handful of fish in one particular tank all of them over 17 inches most are larger and I feed them every two days, a combination of Massivore, jumbo carni sticks, krill ( zuchini, algae discs for my giant gourami) and the occasional shrimp, smelt, clams etc.

So for example if I feed on a Monday I won't feed again until Thursday.

I feed all my monster fish every 2 days. They are all over 5-7 year old mark and range from 16-30" My small young fish one to 2x a day

Depends on fish most cichlids eat every day and most of the monster characins should be fed twice daily, but most other predatory monster fish only eat a few times a week as adults

My predators are now almost fully grown, I still feed 5x per week but will soon go to every other day
