Ely's used to have a beautiful orino peacock bass in one of their display tanks.It looked very much like a rio negro.

Monster fish with monster price tags. He gets some nice stock but his prices are practical joke expensive LOL

I love walking thru but man his prices are out of control. I walked in once with a pile of cash and tried to negotiate some rays that he personally breeds and he wouldn’t even budge a $1 It’s a shame because with more competitive pricing he would no doubt make a good buck

True on single fish transactions, no doubt.
But whenever I buy more than just a few guppies for my kids’ tanks, he is quite flexible. Things like “I buy all xyz you’ve got, how much is that if I pay cash” generally lead to appreciable price drops for me...!?

BTW: Jersey store tour is overdue-any thoughts? What’s left with Monsters, Pedro and Monster across the river?
