Is this for real? A two foot fish in a five foot tank? So the fish can basically just turn around and around and around?

People need to start giving better info. Read this it is incredibly stupid to keep an arowana in a 150 any size over 12 inch. Yes they can live in there but you are doing more harm to the fish then you realize

I agree.....Arrowanas should be kept in an 8 foot tank preferably bigger. The general rule-of-thumb is the tank's width should be 2X the length of the adult fish and the tank's length should be 4X the length of the adult fish.
Going by that formula and an adult Arrowana , a tank of 6 feet width and 12 feet length is best.
