I had previous threads about stockin my 30gal. But here is my plan. Imma sart with a planted crs tank. Then when the crs hit a hudge(thro breedin) number im gonna start to stock my tank. My thghts of stockin it were 2 pictus catfish and 1 senegal birchir. But im unsure if those will actually eat the crs. So i think i mite do exodons. Also wht is the sea chem bottle that raises the co2 in ur tank? Can anyone shed some light on my idea?

6veiw n no thghts comeon fellas

comeon 20 views n no help...

pictus cats will; get too big for your 30 gallon. they grow fairly large and like to be in groups so their out senegal bichirs will eventually get 1 foot i lenght and that will be to big mighty want to stick with something smaller like a pair of rams....sorry to shoot down your ideas

Ok i am now thinkin exo's or yellow convicts wht do u guys think? and will convicts or exo's eat crs(crystal red shrimp)?

Exodons, definatly. You could get a group of 12-15.

With proper filtration he/she could fit around 20 in there.
I have been thinking about setting up my spare 30 as an exo tank.
Just make sure to have lots of plants and hardscape to allow for some smaller exos to hide if need be. A few feedings a day will also help curb any cannibalism. Also, keep a close eye on your water params, with a lot of fish it can go south pretty fast.

So wl a ac110 work for filtratin i also have a sponge filter for 30 gallon tank. And so exo's will devour crs? I think ill do that. If i start to get a ton of crs then i mite try to sell some! Any ideas on plants i cld have for them? I knw java moss but wht else will rlly help them hide? The crs will always be in the tank wit the exo's as a constant food source so it shld help on canabilism!
