All doing well at the moment, growing and colouring up well. I think I have 2 male 3 female nics but still not 100% sure, there is a bit of chasing here and there but no real aggression so far.
As a only tank i prefer the community, next year I should get a second tank again which will house a big guy of some sort, best of both worlds then.Tank is looking great dan. Have you found you enjoy the tank of many small cichlids vs. one big guy?
Had a bit of a move round, the wood was still buoyant last time so had to be waited down with the rocks.Nice tank dude.
Love the Nicaraguans too.
Have you reshaped since your last update, seems more going on with roots an stuff?
I like it.
Cheers mate, starting to come together.Looking good Dan.
I like the wood arrangements. Like the idea of a group of nics too . Nice set up mate, like it.
Sounds like a good plan. I'm doing something similar, keeping my panamensis community and growing out a small beast to have as a solo fish. Something to be said for each type of setup for sure.As a only tank i prefer the community, next year I should get a second tank again which will house a big guy of some sort, best of both worlds then.
