Monthly update.

All doing well at the moment, growing and colouring up well. I think I have 2 male 3 female nics but still not 100% sure, there is a bit of chasing here and there but no real aggression so far.

Tank is looking great dan. Have you found you enjoy the tank of many small cichlids vs. one big guy?

As a only tank i prefer the community, next year I should get a second tank again which will house a big guy of some sort, best of both worlds then.

Had a bit of a move round, the wood was still buoyant last time so had to be waited down with the rocks.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm doing something similar, keeping my panamensis community and growing out a small beast to have as a solo fish. Something to be said for each type of setup for sure.
