When I bought my 2 lights from my friend at a lfs, he said he'd throw in a moon light bulb and lamp for an extra $20. I thought sure why not, all 3 of the fixtures and lights are used, and work great. I'm not home right now, but I believe all this info is right. The 2 main lights are coralife and I forget the watts. They're t12's. I never use the moon light though because I really don't know how it will affect my fish, inverts and turtle which is in the same room. It;s really bright blue and small, probably t8. It justs sits on the ground near my tank picking up dust. I want to start using it because both of my tanks are in my room, so when I get home at,midnight, I find myself using a flashlight to get around so as not to disturb any inahbitants. Any idea on how this will affect everything? I wouldn't keep it on all night, just till I go to sleep. Two more things. Unlike the other 2 hood fixtures, this fixture can't sit with the light down, there would be nothing to protect it. Any tips on placing it somewhere? Also, the connection from the cord to the actual light fixture never quite fits in, would it still be ok to use?
