moonlight achieved through a neon bulb?"under car kit"

just wondering if that would work is has anyone tried it. Since you can get neon bulbs o cheap now! Also if you have pics that would help. Thanks in advance

I used the reg 18" in-car light that worked nicely. Instead of the lighter plug I wired an outlet plug to it. I dont have no more and I didnt take pics but use either green or blue.

I use a regular green light on my 75 that looks nice.

I had a 3 ft bulb wired to a transformer like Taz and it worked out very well.

I would say that is a good idea if it works but make sure that the neon lights won't harm your fish.

??how would it hurt them who knows?? but i got a blue neon at the local fish store (for free of couse wouldnt have spent 40 dollars on a 18 inch light although its submersible sounds like the same thing ur talkin about and on the box it said it mimicks natural moonlight my fish love it or i should say i do they dont get spooked when i turn on the light at 3am cuz im curious ha
