moonlight

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That will look great a fish tank, did that also with the outdoor chrstmas light I bought last year but the moonlighting effect seemed to trigger my arowanas to "hunting Mode" and start going at each other and the discus so I have to take it out. Don't really know if it is just a matter of them getting use to it or what.... but I don't want to wait and find out and risk my discus :D.

Can you please elaborate? I am planing to follow you on this one.

Or, a $3.00 25w blue party bulb in an old unused ceramic fixture and an unused dimmer.
Lots of options, this is only my cheap, broke, recycle way.
The dimmer does allow me to vary the "moonlight" from min.(cloudy waning moon), to max. (clear full moon).
