Hi All,

Just wanted to seek some advice, over night my Paroon Shark got ahold of my clown knife which is slightly smaller and has removed one of its eyes.

It looks very beaten up, I've since isolated it but I'm wondering if Clowns survive without one eye? The eye socket is open and very bloodied up.

Is it manageable? Or is it more humane to euthanise?

Many Thanks.

That's a desicion that you will have to make... You can try to care for it, alot of very clean water and medicine or euthanize it.

it can live fine with one eye, just watch for infection. The eye socket should completely close up and you will hardly even notice there was ever an eye there.

It'll be fine once the open wound heals. I've seen some pretty big CKs that have one eye and they seem to manage.;)
