Some time back i changed the diet of my channa from pellets, and since then pellets are rarely offered to my channa and the behavioral change i notice and the constantly active fish seem to really show that this diet is much better for these fish.
previously i used to feed this fella once in two days or three days, with Hikari Cichlid Gold floating pellets, he used to love them and always used to gorge on them, but the fish was more sluggish and very calm, then i changed the diet almost 2 months back and now i see that the fish is more territorial, more active and very aggressive now.
