I do apologize for the lack of brightness but I'm actually quite pleased with the pictures considering there's no light over this tank. You can actually see the fish's color!

Male is 6.5", female is 4" TL. They're in a 40gl tank (36"L x 14.5"W x 19.5"H) by themselves.

Wheres it from?

They're from Rio Cabuyo in Costa Rica. With the revisions of the convict complex that would make them Amatitlania siquia.
They're quite varied in color and shape. The BF and I got 10 pairs from the person who collected them (who had around 100). Some were log and narrow, some were tall and squat. Some were a bright yellow, others were a uniform deep amber color. It was awesome to see the variation within the one location. We traded off or gave most of the rest away.

are you sure thats a pure breed convict? i have wild caught s and they dont even look close to that
