Just got 2 1 foot long Oscars and a 13 inch pleco for free belive it or not they were in a 20 gallon high tank people need to know what there getting into

The oscars seem to be oddly shaped,probably due to the tank conditions they had to endure up til now.
They look to be in great shape, all things considered. I definitely understand the "know what you're getting into" thing. Most dog owners don't get a great Dane puppy and expect it to stay small. Why don't they research fish prior? But, the "experts" at most chain pet stores and some locals don't help either. But I get it, it's a business and they won't make any money if they refuse to sell fish to someone who is going to put it in a small tank.

I wouldn't call them idiots but rather ignorant. I know many people who think that if the fish can swim they're fine type of thing.
Still he maybe just be an idiot anyways lol
Some folks might consider it idiotic to place a fish on the floor to take photos of it.
