Well I didn't get the ones I wanted but I am adding 15 more juvies and a breeding trio of these guys to the 13 I already have. Now I just need to get the others. I also put in an inquiry at another dealer that I know has breeders to see if I can get some more different lines hopefully.

If I have all these different blood lines should I mix or just keep the same lines separate? I will end up with nearly a hundred breeders and maybe 4 different blood lines.

Stop it!!! I am really jealous!!! J/K Well, not really but I am very happy for you...You are LUCKY!! I don't know a lot about how it works with fish breeding but I would think if they were all quality lines it would be better to mix. Maybe not all at once, that way when your breeding gets going you have new blood to add down the line. What about seperating into 2 groups of 2 and then down the road you can swap? That way it would take a LONG time until your fish were too closely related.

I would suggest using a few tanks with this project. Put each line in a single tank. Then pull the males and place in seperate tanks with the same male blood lines together. Then swap males into another blood line female group. You can rotate the males creating many different blood lines, or selective breed your best males and females... create a super strain...lol

It is. I need a woman that appreciates fish. She just commited strike 3 when she said no more fish. See ya, bye. I will spend my money the way I see fit and that's that. There are more women out there.:D
