I have 5 4'' Red Bellys in a 75 Gallon tank, I really want them to grow fast but it seems like they have not been growing that fast recentley, I do 1 water change every week and I feed them about 5 cooked frozen shrimp a day and put in 20 feeder fish about once a month, please give me some advice on how to make them grow faster.

where do you find beefheart?

most lfs have some frozen cubes, but a lot cheaper if you ask your local butcher or grocery store.

Also hikari pellets are great for their color and growth.

Try staying away from the feeders if you can. If you want to feed live use earthworms much better for them.

Shrimp and white fish, are great also just make sure they are raw and not cooked

yea dont buy it from the lfs.. its way too expensive and is inferior to the store bought whole heart..

it took me a while to find a place that had beefheart.. so just call around..

get some raw shrimp and fish fillet's from the grocery store (sole, tilapia etc.)
and sell 1 or 2. a 75 is good for 3 reds for life... maybe 4

at 4 inches youll be fine with the 5 for a while. Once they hit 7 or more I would look to downsize then
