More Jurupari vs. Leucosticta

Does anyone have any idea why the price for "true" Jurupari is so high when compared to Leucosticta?
I keep seeing 'wild caught' Leucosticta at nearly 1/3 the price of captive bred Jurupari!

Why is this, when Leucosticta is definitely the more attractive variety of fish, by far?
In all fairness, I keep both species.

I just rescued an adult that was labeled a Jurupari and I paid $25 for him, so I don't know if you would consider that "expensive" or not, but I would love to see Leucosticta for sale somewhere. I am guessing that I do indeed have Jurupari though because he is a very drab looking fish.

Traditionally it was due to rarity. True jurupari were hard to find, so when you did they were more expensive. They have deffinately came down lately though. I can pick up 2.5"-3" ones for $10.99 each at one LFS ... if I had the room but I prefer the Leucosticta as well.
