I was in a LFS the other day and this customer was raving, how he bought this bio filter on ebay for $40.00. That will reduce his water changes on his aquariums from weekly to monthly.....I talked with him a little further turns out he replaces his fish almost every 2 months and since he bought this product he hasn't lost one fish ( granted he's only had this product a month)...

The owner of the store did nothing to try and educate this customer. Probably because he liked the steady repeat business... ..

Thought I'd post this in case anyone on MFK was interested in purchasing this wonder bio filtering product..........

That is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen....

Sadly, as long as there are people out there that are dumb enough to continue to buy gimmicks like this, there will be companies that make them.
