I have a breeding pair of fesivum (M. mirificus) I think, anyway the male does alot of the fanning of the eggs at least 50/50. my Krobia xinguensis split it about 60/40 female to male and with my RH Taps the males do very little fanning. When I had a breeding pair of Trimacs the male did it only when the female was eating otherwise he just guarded the area. I also noticed my WC P. scalar are similar to the the festivum in splitting duties. I don't know if this is somthing typical of the species or is just the individual pairs.
Good looking pair of chocolates. I currently have a nice ~6" male and I'm growing out 3 WC fish in hopes of getting a feamale out of them to pair up.
