More Monster Mounts!

Picked up two more little rocks today, and dropped off a big Copper, 21" weighed in at 8.9lbs. And think the current IFGA is 8.5lbs! Here is a pic of the new little guys and the one thats sittin in the freezer getting ready to get knifed.

Paint the wall blue and airbrush in some ocean effects.

yup those are natural colors. They really are that red/orange.

They cost about $18 per inch, in length up to 33". after 33"es the girth counts too. the reds are 22" & 23" then times that by $18 and that gives you the cost. The taxidermist's minimum cost on a small fish is $250. I would love to see one of you guys get a Huge Dat. Kevin (Taxidermist) did mount an Aro once, but said the skin was really thin and very difficult. to do, she he wouldn't want to do any more of those, but he has some awesome P's that he's done. This guy is one of the best skin mounts guys I've come across.

I'm filling for a new IGFA world record with that last fish in the photo. I think it beats the current record by pound. And for a 8.9lb fish thats alot So I'm guessing that fish is over 30yrs old, based on his size.
