feed less more often rather than more less often.

so a bit every day? ifeed them well every 2nd day.

Little and often will keep aggression down in the shoal.
It you feed large amounts between larger time-spaces, the piranhas may pick at each other between feeds.
So to keep piranhas in prime condition, little and often. And that way you do not pollute the water as much after each feed.
