I normally get Dats at around 4 inches, largest Indo I bought was 8 inches. These come out now and again and show good colour at different times.

I recently bought a 1.5 inch Indo.

This little Dat is so outgoing, lights on or off he's out and about and stable.

Has anyone else found that Dats raised from about 1inch are more outgoing and stable than Dats you have bought that have been older and larger?

My thinking is that younger Dats can be trained to be more outgoing and except their surrounding quicker than older Dats.

Or have you found younger Dats that have been outgoing and stable become less outgoing and stable as they get older and possibly wiser.

I think its all dependent on individual fish personality. Ive gotten big ones, medium and small that are outgoing. Also all sizes that would hide. It does seem though that they get bolder the bigger they get.
