more peaceful cichlids

my dovii is starting to be a devil and ithink im going to sell him and buy less agressive cichlid...i realize all cichlids are aggresive but what would be more suitable for me? are vieja argentina's more moderate in anger? gimme some examples of big cichlids that are pretty good with tankmates in your experiences

Severums, Chocolates, Oscars, Uarus, are some that get fairly large are not consider very aggressive.

In general, almost all cichlids are more peaceful than a dovii.

to add to twhittle's list, also most of the acaras are pretty peaceful, so are most Geo's, rainbow cichlids, most Thorichthys.

i think severums will do great.. and oscars in massive numbers.

my severums are pretty peaceful. the female actually chases the male a little but i have about 8 danios in the tank that have been there since day 1 and the sevs pay them no attention

IMO most peaceful = keyhole cichlid
but it doesn't grow big..
