My wife has an obsession with naming things. We have a 700 gallon Koi pond with 10 Koi that all have names ranging from Mr. Bling to Fantasia. I just gave in and call them by their names now as well. I did get a chance to name our flower Dandelion, she wanted to call her daisy LOL!
Our flower is eating really well on cut up night crawler. She ate her first one the first day I had her. After 3 days in the main tank I was feeding the other rays frozen shrimp and she ate a piece. Now she eats shrimp as well. She doesn't attack it like she does worms but she eats it. She is 2nd in line out of 5 rays when it comes to aggressive eating, that says a lot since she lives with 2 castexi and 2 motoro of the same size.

Mr. Gar is one cool fish. It is a shame people in the US look at them as trash fish. He will follow you around the tank, eat out of your hand, and even let you pet his nose. Of course that ends with him trying to nip your finger.
