based on the pics looks like you can be pretty sure to say you have a diamond, rather a gold or black or even blue is still kind of hard to say when it's that small. (most likely not a blue as I don't even see any hint of blue in the reflection)
wait until its a bit larger would probably be a little easier to tell.
wait until it's at the front of the glass and take picture from it's tail at an angle, with the flash on you should see all the nice shinny scales.
not sure what camera you have but try to hold the button halfway down and hold, the camera should auto focus (if the camera has the auto focus function) on the subject (your fish). once it's focused then press it all the way.

he doesnt come out to the front much so that be hard lol.... and i know its not a blue and maybe a black but i do believe the guy i bought it from and do believe it to be a gold cause i can see what ur talking about at right angles from his tale the whole body has a silverish gold bling to it

really gold diamonds really show gold on gill plate and adose fin brandti have that 24kt look on the scales buddy but it might be a gold looks black diamond to me though
