Nice. I'm new to Digital SLR Cameras. I just got mine a little over a month ago. On the tank shots, are you using an off-camera flash?
i have tried both ways.. but i always end up using the flash... you just have to angle it so there won't be a reflection..phillydog1958;4160727; said:

It's very easy to make nice photos with a dslr cam, whitout flash.
just set your ISO high like 2400 or even higher. mine ( I use a canon 50D ) i always have it on 3200 and high shutter speed and than just point and shoot.
