I have two green and two gold in my 75 the bigger of the gold chases the smaller one when i feed them. I do plan on moving two when they get bigger

agreed. i've got a breeding pair that get along fine. the larger the tank the better. i'd say you could get away with 2 males in a 75g and more in a larger tank
 
I'd say male and female would be fine in a 55 for life as long as they're not pushing 10 inches...in that case a 75 would do nicely.
 
I have 2 in my 170 (males), the gold chases the green but no biting/damage...in a smaller tank the chasing might get persistent but chances are you could do it.
 
depends on tank size and the temperement of individual sevs. for the most part peacefull however as always its down to individual fish . i added a juvenile 3 inc green with my established 6 inch red and all is fine. if your sev is pretty peacefull should be fine. i wouldnt even try it in anything less than 75 gallons ( uk ) my 2 are in a 100 gallon . the thing to remember with sevs is altho peacefull are big chunky fish that require their space
